Wilmington unveils $50M revitalization plan

WILMINGTON – After months of planning, Mayor Mike Purzycki announced on Wednesday a plan to improve and stabilize the $ 50 million house, which he called “the most ambitious housing and neighborhood plan in the city’s history.”

The investment is backed by $ 55.6 million allocated to the city through the US Emergency Plan Act (ARPA), a federal Biden administration incentive law that pumps billions to states and cities across the country.

The plan will use nearly 90% of ARPA’s funding in Wilmington and leave the city with $ 5.6 million for other projects.
