Invitation Homes Inc. is based in Dallas. The company has formed a $ 300 million partnership to help meet the demand for single-family homes, the company said on Friday.

Invitation, the country’s largest homeowner, is investing $ 50 million in equity in a joint venture with Boston-based private equity firm Rockpoint Group LLC, which is investing $ 250 million.
